Ms. Julia Mok-Russo, Deputy Director of the German pavilion

﹛﹛﹛﹛﹛﹛﹛﹛﹛Germany- ※balancity§

On 31st August, we warmly welcomed Ms. Julia Mok-Russo, Deputy Director of the German Pavilion and Ms. Mareen Hoeppner, Press Assistant of the German Pavilion as our honorable guests at PAROS Bar. The atmosphere of the evening was very delightful, probably influenced by the energizing mood of the Deputy Director Ms. Mok-Russo, who shared her Chinese family background with the audience.

After she Introduced herself, she presented the German Pavilion by PPT and it was a great pleasure to see her enthusiasm talking about the pavilion. The German Pavilion has been christened ※balancity§ 每 a newly coined word signifying a city in balance. Visitors to balancity will embark on a journey through a city of ideas, moving around as they were in a real city 每 on foot, moving walkways and escalators 每 through thematic areas representing different themes for better life in a better city.

The journey starts at the harbor and leads through a garden and a park, via a town planning office, past the depot, the studio and the city square to the "Energy Source", the city*s power plant.

A city can be a good place to live 每 if it provides a balance between renewal and preservation, innovation and tradition, urbanity and nature, community and individual development and work and leisure. That*s the message of the German Pavilion.

A quiz about Germany, a letter of a Jiefang Daily journalist, Erhu performance, Dizi performance and the presentation of ExpoFriends concept were on the program before the event was closed by talking picture together and changing presents.
Ms. Mok-Russo showed great interest in our association and in our new concept of ExpoFriends and was interviewed by several journalists during the event.
